Back-to-Back Launch of Suzuki’s Ultimate Motorcycles

Suzuki Philippines Motorcycle Division has launched two highly-anticipated motorcycles in a back-to-back unveiling named “The Ultimate Arrival” in Makina Motoshow’s Suzuki Hub at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The event served as the perfect launchpad for the Burgman Street 125 EX and Suzuki V-STROM 1050DE models that will soon grace Philippine roads.

The Burgman Street 125 EX is a new variant of the much-loved Burgman Street. The new model features more refined styling that exudes rich elegance and advanced features that cater to the market’s demand for a more luxurious ride. It comes equipped with a 125cc Fuel-injected Suzuki Eco Performance Alpha engine technology that boasts of optimum power at maximum fuel efficiency of 52.6km/L. Its fully digital instrument panel is designed for better visibility and convenience, providing information through various features such as the Engine Auto Stop-Start Indicator, Eco Drive Indicator, Engine Temperature, Battery Voltage Indicator, Digital Clock, Fuel Gauge, Oil Change Indicator, Dual Trip Meter, Fuel Consumption, and Engine Check indicator. The Burgman Street 125 EX also boasts of a Combined Brake System, a 2L Lidded front glove box with a USB outlet for convenience, and a Side Stand Safety Switch that prevents the engine from starting when the side stand is engaged.

The V-STROM 1050DE is a new offering packed with distinctive features aimed at enhancing its ability to more confidently negotiate gravel and other unpaved surfaces of country roads, green lanes, and camp trails. The bike’s product concept is “The Master of Adventure – For Wherever Your Journey Takes You,” which conveys the commitment to satisfy the needs of riders who want a tough bike to take them anywhere they want to go, whether for long-distance touring or exploring gravel roads and country trails. The V-STROM 1050DE is equipped with advanced electronic control systems that comprise the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S), making it an exceptional model in its class.

Both the Burgman Street 125 EX and V-STROM 1050DE are designed to cater to the rider’s safety and convenience. The Burgman Street 125 EX features a One Push Central Locking System that gives better security, while the V-STROM 1050DE has an Adjustable Traction Control System and Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS) for easy adaptation to different road surfaces and riding situations.

The Burgman Street 125 EX comes in two premium colors, Metallic Royal Bronze and Metallic Matte Black, and is priced at PHP 92,400. Meanwhile, the V-STROM 1050DE is priced at PHP 899,000 and comes in Champion Yellow and Glass Sparkle Black colors.
