Honda Philippines Unveils Exciting New Big Bikes at the 2024 Makina Moto Show

From April 26 to 28, 2024, the 2024 Makina Moto Show once again took center stage at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the leading motorcycle manufacturer in the country, proudly showcased its diverse range of models. The highlight of the event was the introduction of five thrilling new Big Bikes on April 26, 2024: The All-New CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, The All-New CBR650R, The All-New CB650R, The All-New CB500 Hornet, and The All-New NX500.

The All-New CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, featuring a Grand Prix Red and Matte Pearl Morion Black color scheme, epitomizes Honda’s Super Sports category with its aggressive MotoGP-inspired design. Boasting a specially tuned 1,000cc Liquid-Cooled 4-Stroke DOHC 4-Valve inline 4-Cylinder engine and a host of performance-enhancing features, including Brembo Stylema R Four-Piston Calipers and Akrapovic Titanium Muffler, this Big Bike promises an exhilarating ride.

The All-New CBR650R, available in Standard Type Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, as well as E-Clutch Type Grand Prix Red, inherits its sleek styling from the Fireblade, ensuring superb aerodynamics and track-ready performance. Equipped with a 649cc engine and advanced technologies like Honda E-Clutch and Honda Selectable Torque Control, it offers an unmatched riding experience.

Meanwhile, The All-New CB650R, with its sharp design elements and dynamic performance, captivates riders seeking adrenaline-fueled adventures. Available in multiple color options, including Matte Laurel Green Metallic and Candy Chromosphere Red, this bike combines style with substance, boasting a 649cc Liquid-cooled 4-stroke 16-valve DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine and advanced features like Honda Selectable Torque Control.

Adding to the lineup, The All-New CB500 Hornet embraces a Neo Sports Cafe style and delivers spirited performance on the road. With its 471cc engine, LED lighting system, and ergonomic design, it offers both style and substance for riders craving excitement.

Lastly, The All-New NX500 emerges as Honda’s latest Adventure Big Bike, featuring a rugged design and powerful performance capabilities. Boasting a 471cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC parallel twin engine, dual-front and single-rear disc brakes, and advanced features like Honda Selectable Torque Control, it’s ready to tackle any adventure with confidence.

In addition to these exciting launches, HPI also presented six iconic big bikes, including The New Goldwing, The New Rebel1100, The New Rebel500, The New CRF1100L Africa Twin, and The New XL750 Transalp, allowing enthusiasts to explore the diverse range of offerings from Honda.

Furthermore, attendees had the opportunity to explore Honda’s new line of branded apparel, designed to inspire the spirit of adventure among Filipino riders. Additionally, HPI showcased its innovative Power Products lineup and Pro Honda Oil selection, catering to the needs of motorcycle enthusiasts.
