  • MASSIVE TURNOUT: OVER 1100 RIDERS JOIN THE SUZUKI RAIDER BIG RIDE MINDANAO

A total of 1,124 Raider R150 riders from across Mindanao converged in Davao City for the exhilarating Raider Big Ride – Mindanao, held on June 9, 2024. This event brought together motorcycle enthusiasts for a thrilling parade, celebrating the Suzuki Raider’s supremacy as the Underbone King in the Philippines for over two decades.

The event also served as Suzuki’s way of expressing gratitude to the Raider enthusiasts for their unwavering support. The convoy saw participation from various motorcycle clubs, including but not limited to the R150 Raider Fi Club, Allied Raider R150 Riders Club, Davao Riders Club, Philippine Raider R150 Fi Club Inc., R150 Allstar Nation, Raider R150 Riders Davao City, Suzuki Tachometrix, Team Motor Tech, and Torque Riders Organization Philippines Inc.

Suzuki Philippines Incorporated, represented by Dave Obrial, Regional Sales Manager for Mindanao, Edelyn Yanilla, Marketing Communications Group Head, Victoria Caringal, Products Team Acting Group Head, and Johnny De Guzman, Field Marketing Group Head, expressed their appreciation to the riders and emphasized the importance of road safety.

The event was further energized by popular Motovloggers and Suzuki motorcycle owners, Reed Motovlog and Kumander Daot, along with well-known riders from Davao City, including Kuyz TV, Boy Baldo, Frozz Moto, Tope Motovlog, Kabuhay Moto TV, and Rodkris Bisdak Motovlog.

Scenic Ride and Parade

The riders embarked on an exciting 35km journey from Roxas Avenue, Davao City to Panabo Gym, Davao Del Sur. The convoy stretched as long as 3km, showcasing the Raider R150’s dominance along with the proud owners.

The event culminated with fun activities and games for the riders. Hosted by DJ Kath Tan, Panabo Gym was filled with energy thanks to performances by the Raider 150 Riders Davao City Dance Troupe and Tawag ng Tanghalan’s The Rivera Sisters.

As the highlight and Suzuki’s ultimate gift to the riders, a brand new V-STROM 250 SX motorcycle was raffled off and won by Alexander Maulana.

This event marked the second leg of the Suzuki Raider Big Ride, celebrating the Raider R150’s unrivaled dominance in the market for over two decades. The first ride took place in Luzon, with over 1000 riders making history by passing through the expressway. Aiming to create another unforgettable impression, the Mindanao leg once again solidified the strong bond between Suzuki Philippines and its passionate motorcycle community.
