inDrive Launches “Ka-gulong, Kita Tayo!” Campaign to Empower Drivers and Communities in the Philippines

Global ride-hailing app inDrive, experiencing rapid growth in the Philippines since its relaunch in June 2024, has launched the “Ka-gulong, Kita Tayo!” campaign. This initiative, in partnership with transport group Laban TNVS, aims to give back to drivers, passengers, and the broader community, following a remarkable 96% increase in driver acquisition and a 75% rise in rides on the platform.

Natalia Makarenko, inDrive’s Marketing Director for APAC, emphasized the company’s commitment to positively impacting lives through mobility. She highlighted that inDrive’s strategic goal for 2030 is to improve the lives of over 1 billion people worldwide. The “Ka-gulong, Kita Tayo!” campaign aligns with this mission by ensuring that TNVS drivers earn fair profits, providing them a platform to voice their concerns, and creating a safe and equitable experience for passengers through the app’s low 10% commission model.

Beyond the financial aspect, the campaign also focuses on grassroots initiatives. inDrive and Laban TNVS are launching various community-based programs to support drivers’ families and uplift Filipino communities. Laban TNVS President Jun De Leon expressed his gratitude for inDrive’s commitment to working closely with their organization, noting their collaborative efforts during Super Typhoon Carina, where they organized flood assistance for drivers and a feeding program for Sitio San Roque in Quezon City.

Looking ahead, Makarenko outlined plans for further expansion in the Philippines, with inDrive set to improve and widen its services in key areas like Cebu, Davao, and Pampanga. The company also aims to diversify its partnership network, enhancing the benefits for both drivers and passengers. By understanding and addressing the unique challenges within each community, inDrive continues to fulfill its mission of improving lives one ride at a time.
