Ducati has officially announced that Italian rider Mattia Guadagnini will join Jeremy Seewer as part of the Ducati factory team for the 2025 MXGP World Championship. Guadagnini will race aboard the Desmo450 MX, Ducati’s groundbreaking motocross machine, developed in collaboration with the Maddii Racing team.

Born on April 11, 2002, in Bassano del Grappa, Guadagnini has established himself as one of Italy’s top motocross talents. He captured the 125 Junior World and European Championships in 2019 and made a strong debut in the MX2 class in 2021, finishing 4th overall and winning three races. In 2022, he stepped up to the MXGP class, where he continues to showcase his skill and promise.

The Ducati Desmo450 MX marks the brand’s debut in off-road racing, a significant move as Ducati expands its presence in motocross. The Desmo450 MX will be available for order at selected Ducati dealerships starting in early 2025, with deliveries set to begin in June. This bike, which already secured victory in the 2024 Italian Motocross Championship, represents Ducati’s entry into both the 450 and 250 segments, signaling its long-term commitment to the motocross arena.

Fans can expect Ducati to be a formidable force in the upcoming MXGP season as they field two of the sport’s top riders and bring their renowned engineering to off-road racing. For those interested in the Desmo450 MX, updates will be available through Ducati’s official channels.
