Mober Wins Gold for Leading Green Logistics at KMC Startup Awards 2024

  • Mober Recognised with Bronze for Rapid Growth in Sustainable Logistics

Mober, a pioneer in green logistics in the Philippines, was awarded the Gold Sustainability Award at the 2nd KMC Startup Awards for its leadership in promoting electric vehicle (EV) logistics. The company also won the Bronze Growth Champion Award for its rapid expansion in the sustainable logistics sector.

With transportation emissions in the Philippines projected to quadruple by 2050, Mober has championed sustainability by deploying a fleet entirely composed of EVs. This move has significantly reduced tailpipe emissions, improved air quality, and fostered a greener logistics industry. Beyond environmental impact, Mober supports workforce diversity by training female drivers and assemblers as part of its Green Delivery Specialists team.

Since its founding in 2015, Mober has enabled small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to adopt sustainable practices through EV rentals. Despite challenges during the pandemic, the company transitioned to an all-electric fleet in October 2021, serving major clients like IKEA Philippines, SM Appliance Center, Nestlé, and Nespresso, as well as global logistics leaders Maersk and Kuehne+Nagel.

In 2024, Mober secured significant investments, including $2 million from RT Heptagon Holdings and $6 million from Clime Capital. These funds will expand its EV fleet to 238 units and establish a 3,000-square-meter charging facility by early 2025. Mober’s operations have also extended beyond Metro Manila to key cities such as Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Cagayan de Oro, further positioning it as a leader in sustainable logistics.

“These awards affirm our commitment to driving innovation and sustainability in logistics. We remain focused on our mission to create a greener Philippines,” said Dennis Ng, Mober’s Founder and CEO.
