There will be three Pinnacle Motorsport cars on the grid when the 2025 Formula 4 Middle East Championship kicks off this weekend. The Motorsport Ireland-licensed team has confirmed its driver lineup, which includes Wang Yuzhe, Kyuho Lee, and Yuta Suzuki, all set to compete at the Yas Marina Circuit.
Wang Yuzhe, returning to Pinnacle Motorsport after a strong season in the Formula Trophy UAE, will headline the team’s entry. The Chinese driver, who finished 5th in his F4 Chinese Championship debut last year, will compete in all five events of the F4 Middle East season. Kyuho Lee, fresh off his win as the FIA OKN World Cup Champion, will make his single-seater debut in the double-header at Yas Marina. Yuta Suzuki from Japan, a kart racer transitioning to formula cars, completes the team’s lineup for the first two events.
The 2025 F4 Middle East season will take place across three FIA Grade 1 circuits, starting with two rounds at Yas Marina in January, followed by races at the Dubai Autodrome and Jeddah Corniche Circuit, the home of the Saudi Arabian GP. Each event will consist of three races, totaling 30 races over a seven-week period.
Formula 4 Middle East Championship 2025 Calendar
John O’Hara, Team Director at Pinnacle Motorsport, expressed excitement about the upcoming season, saying, “It’s going to be an intense few weeks in the desert as we add three more drivers to Pinnacle Motorsport’s roster. We’re pushing for strong results with Wang, Kyuho, and Yuta as they compete in F4 Middle East.”
Pinnacle Motorsport’s campaign in the F4 Middle East Championship is supported by Motorsport Ireland and KC Motorgroup Ltd. The Middle East is emerging as a key hub for junior single-seater motorsport, with the championship providing a clear path from karting to Formula 4 and Formula Regional competition in the region.
