Two Sealion 6 DM-i compact SUVs, driven by long-distance experts Georges and Louis Ramirez, completed a challenging journey from Metro Manila to Tuguegarao, Ilocos, La Union, and back to BGC on one full charge and a full tank of its range extender. Despite various road and traffic conditions, the team comfortably covered 1,297.6 kilometers, with additional battery charge and range extender distance remaining.

To further test its limits, the team extended the journey to Subic Bay on the fourth day, ultimately covering a total distance of up to 1,608 kilometers. This achievement, observed by the Automobile Association Philippines, demonstrated the Sealion 6 DM-i’s ability to eliminate range anxiety and its impressive efficiency and performance in real-world conditions. The documented and safe run proved the SUV’s long-distance capabilities are accessible to any driver, reinforcing the practicality and reliability of BYD’s innovative Super DM-i Technology.
