Combining a trial run and quick getaway in one occasion, the country’s top motoring media had the chance to get behind the wheel of the all-new Suzuki Swift and experience first-hand its outstanding performance and quality craftsmanship. The two-day test drive last March 28 and 29 took the media to the scenic Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan from Suzuki Auto Caloocan and then back.
The well-loved Suzuki hatchback’s stylishly youthful vibe and sporty look made even modish with accessory kit provided a refreshing contrast to the restored Spanish-Filipino houses of Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar.
During the 3-hour drive to Bataan, the Swift was able to prove its fuel efficiency, powerful performance and advanced safety features as the motoring media navigated the straight lines of NLEX and bumpy roads of Bataan. Swift’s GL grade features contributes to solid footwork, making it easy to traverse rough roads of Bagac, Bataan.

Suzuki Philippines Director and General Manager for Automobile Keiichi Suzuki kicked off the media test drive with a welcome remarks at Suzuki Caloocan. “Since its launch in 2018, the all-new Suzuki Swift has been receiving good response, and this media test drive is another proof of the Swift’s reliable performance on the road. It is also a testament to our ability to keep up with the changing needs of Filipino drivers, especially the millennial market. The Swift continues to evolve to offer our young Filipino drivers a richer driving experience. This is another way we reach out to more Filipinos and share with them the Suzuki Way of Life,” Suzuki shares.
