BYD Expands Electric Mobility in Bicol with New Camarines Sur Dealership

BYD Cars Philippines strengthens its presence in southern Luzon, bringing cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) solutions and services to promote green transportation in the Bicol Region with the opening of its new dealership in Camarines Sur.

Camarines Sur, Philippines – November 28, 2024 – In collaboration with ACMobility, BYD Cars Philippines has launched its newest dealership in Camarines Sur, marking a major milestone in advancing electric mobility in Bicol. This expansion is a testament to BYD’s commitment to providing sustainable transportation solutions across the Philippines. The new dealership not only highlights BYD’s mission but also contributes to the region’s shift toward a greener future.

Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, Chief Operating Officer of ACMobility, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “We at ACMobility are proud to align BYD Camarines Sur with our vision of delivering a customer-first experience. Situated along Maharlika Highway in Barangay San Jose, Pili, the dealership is strategically positioned to support the growing demand for electric vehicles in Bicol. This 1,658-square-meter facility features a 323-square-meter showroom that can display up to seven cars, along with a 1,335-square-meter service workshop area with six work bays and a customer service lounge. The new location provides customers easy access to BYD’s innovative electric vehicles, as well as a reliable charging infrastructure.

In partnership with ACMobility, the dealership will soon offer a 24/7 EV charging station equipped with a 60 kW DC charger capable of serving two vehicles simultaneously. A 7 kW charger within the facility will cater specifically to BYD customers. The dealership is managed by Fast Group and Horizon Auto Services, Inc., ensuring that service and support are delivered to the highest standards set by BYD worldwide.
