Carworld Inc. Crowned Overall Grand Champion at the 23rd Mitsubishi Skills Olympics

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) successfully held the 23rd Mitsubishi Skills Olympics (MSO) on January 11, 2025, at the MMPC Training Center in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The Mitsubishi Skills Olympics is an annual event that showcases the skills and expertise of MMPC’s dealership personnel. The event also serves as a selection platform to determine which participants will represent MMPC at Mitsubishi Motors Corporation’s (MMC) Global Service Skills Competition in Japan. This year, Carworld Inc. emerged as the overall grand champion, taking home top honors across multiple categories, further demonstrating their commitment to excellence.

The Mitsubishi Skills Olympics serves as a testament to MMPC’s ongoing dedication to the professional growth of its dealership network. The event challenges participants, helps elevate their skills, and reinforces Mitsubishi’s focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This year, MMPC introduced two new categories: the Warranty Officer Contest and the Sales Customer Relations Officer (CRO) Contest. These additions reflect the growing recognition of the key roles that contribute to the success of MMPC’s dealerships.

Among the standout performances at this year’s Skills Olympics were Raymond Rivera of Carworld, who claimed the title in the Service Advisor category, and Jose G. Irinco of Diamond Motor, who took home the championship in the Technician category. Both Rivera and Irinco will represent MMPC at the prestigious Global Service Skills Competition hosted by MMC in Japan in December 2025. In recognition of their achievement, all finalists in each category will be treated to an all-expenses-paid trip to Japan this year.
