Inchcape Philippines, the official distributor of Changan vehicles under IC Automotive Inc., and Global Star Motors Corporation (GSMC) celebrated the inauguration of the new Changan dealership in Dumaguete City last October. This marks the fifth Changan dealership in the Visayas and Mindanao regions and the fourth opened in 2024 through the partnership with GSMC. The event was led by Ms. Maricar Parco, General Manager of Inchcape Philippines, and Mr. Edward Onglatco, GSMC President and CEO, symbolizing Changan’s commitment to delivering quality vehicles and services to Dumaguete and its neighboring areas.

Located along National Road in Sibulan, Dumaguete City, the 220-square meter showroom offers Changan’s diverse lineup, including the popular CS SUV series—CS35, CS55, and CS15—making these vehicles more accessible to the Central Visayas market. This expansion reflects Changan’s goal of providing innovative mobility solutions and exceptional customer service to Filipinos across the country.

The dealership opening also highlights Inchcape and GSMC’s successful partnership, furthering Changan’s 160-year legacy of industrial and automotive excellence. Key executives at the event included Kenneth Huan, Executive Vice President and Treasurer, Ritchell Selma, Chief Operating Officer of GSMC, Archie Nanalabe, Branch Manager of Changan Auto Dumaguete, and Hans Villamor, Group Sales & Marketing Manager of Changan Auto at Global Star Motors.
