Wheeltek Motor Sales Corp., a nationwide dealer of motorcycles in the Philippines is proud to be part of the recently concluded Diamond Motocross Series and congratulates all the participants of the event. As expected, “The Goat” Glenn Aguilar dominated the Pro Open category and was declared Overall Series Champion.
Aguilar, now 42 years old, is not slowing down anytime like he said during an interview on Round 1. In fact, there’s nothing more to prove he said, and he wants to up the tempo for the younger ones and elevate the level of the sport (motocross) in the Philippines. In another interview, Aguilar declared that their hardwork paid off since he and his son Mclean is always on training and he feels fitter than ever. “I don’t get tired easily due to my hard training. Me and my son always do the training” he said.
Another motocross legend dominated the Veterans Open Production, 50 year old Jovie Saulog showed what he’s got by winning both Moto 1 & 2 with just a barely recovered arm injury. Meanwhile at the ladies open production, Jovie’s daughter Janelle showcased that the talent for motocross really runs in their blood as she won the Ladies Open Production Championship with The Princess of MX Pia Gabriel on 2nd and Mia Villalon finishing 3rd.
After an action packed day at the race track, a rock concert followed headlined by the country’s top acts such as the Greyhoundz, Wilabaliw, Slapshock, Firefalldown and many more!
The Diamond Motocross Series is orgazined by Generation Congregation in partnership with Diamond Motors Corporation. During the entire series, Wheeltek Motor Sales Corporation showcased its line up of production bikes: Kawasaki KX 250F & KX 450F; Suzuki RM-Z 250 and soon, the RM-Z 450.
