Metro Pacific Tollways South (MPT South), a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC), has unveiled “Bayani Ka: Bayani ng Kalsada Book 2” at the National Library of the Philippines. This new activity book is designed to inspire children to become advocates for road safety in their communities, offering engaging stories, vibrant illustrations, and interactive activities that make learning about road safety both enjoyable and impactful.
Arlette V. Capistrano, Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management of MPT South, led the symbolic turnover of the activity books to the National Library of the Philippines, accompanied by MPTC’s Chief Corporate Governance and Risk Officer, Atty. Cynthia Casino, and Dr. Angelito Umali from UNICEF. The books were received by Mr. Cesar Gilbert Q. Adriano, Director of the National Library, alongside other officials.
MPT South will donate 2,000 copies of the book to public libraries and partner institutions across Metro Manila and CALABARZON. Capistrano emphasized the campaign’s goal to empower children with the knowledge needed to safely navigate streets, fostering lifelong habits of safety and responsibility.
Director Cesar Gilbert Q. Adriano highlighted that the book will serve as a valuable tool for teaching children about road safety, ensuring they have the essential knowledge to stay safe on the road.
MPT South, committed to providing safe and convenient travel experiences, aims to instill road safety consciousness in both current drivers and the next generation of “Bayani ng Kalsada.”
