Kyle Paz continues to be the Philippines’ symbol of racing excellence as the only Filipino Rider to reach the Moto2 level. Once an aspiring racer in his younger years, he understands the responsibility of being an example for the next generation. The process that he’s gone through presented a handful of challenges and personal sacrifices that were necessary to achieve victory. He wants next crop of future champions to know that hard work and discipline is what propelled him to the next level.
Entering round 4, ‘The Wonderboy’ sits at 10th place in the overall standings after a 12th and 13th finish in the last round respectively. Teammate Alex Escrig who has been one of the contenders this season finished 3rd and 4th in his last performance. Paz’s Spanish teammate would overcome his initial hurdles this season to finally achieve his first race championship. Escrig, who may not be Filipino, is grateful for the support he receives from the Philippines and is delighted to share this win.
As Kyle Paz races alongside Alex Escrig who is a championship contender, this only motivates him to work harder to get to the next level. His goal for this season is not just to participate but to advance in his career and reach that elusive podium. Taking on the best riders in the world this isn’t any easy task but that’s what makes the ride worthwhile and Filipino racing fans are eager to see what the future holds for their racing hero.
