The 2024 Philippine Rallycross Series concluded with the Isuzu D-MAX securing championship titles in both the UV Class and Pick-up Class, further cementing its dominance. Driven by Rally Driver of the Year Louie Camacho, the D-MAX showcased its unmatched performance, durability, and reliability on the demanding dirt tracks, ending the season with 200 points in the Pick-up Class and 186 points in the UV Class, outperforming other leading vehicles in both categories.
Camacho, who has trusted the Isuzu D-MAX for two seasons, praised its rugged engineering and consistent high performance. “My team and I are impressed with the D-MAX’s durability. We’ve raced for two years without any major repairs, which proves how well it can withstand tough conditions while still delivering exceptional results,” said Camacho. His mastery of the D-MAX also earned him the 2024 Rally Master Champion titles in both the Philippine Rallycross Series and the Philippine National Rally Championship, along with the prestigious Rally Driver of the Year Award from the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP).
Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) expressed pride in Camacho and the D-MAX’s success. “We are incredibly proud of Louie and his achievements. The Isuzu D-MAX, paired with his skill, is an unbeatable combination, and we’re thrilled to see it excel in motorsports,” said IPC President Tetsuya Fujita.
With the D-MAX’s ongoing domination in motorsports, IPC hinted at continued participation in future rally competitions. For more information on the Isuzu D-MAX, visit www.isuzuphil.com or follow Isuzu Philippines on Facebook.
