Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) is celebrating a historic achievement as it maintains its position as the No. 1 truck brand in the Philippines for 25 consecutive years. In 2024, IPC sold 4,591 truck units, securing a dominant 41% market share. This remarkable feat, known as the “Triple Crown,” marks Isuzu’s dominance across all major truck categories: light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty trucks. This milestone reflects Isuzu’s commitment to delivering top-quality, reliable vehicles that meet the diverse needs of businesses in the Philippines.
The Isuzu N-Series continues to lead the light-duty truck segment, holding the title of the best-selling model for 26 consecutive years. In 2024, Isuzu sold 2,812 N-Series units, capturing 43% of the Category III market share. The N-Series is favored for its fuel efficiency, durability, and versatility, with multiple configurations such as dropside, refrigerated van, and fire truck. Its powerful Blue Power Euro 4 engine, advanced safety features, and ergonomic cabin design make it a top choice for industries like retail, logistics, and construction.
Isuzu’s dominance extends beyond the light-duty category. In the medium-duty truck segment (Category IV), Isuzu sold 1,534 units, securing a 40% market share. The Isuzu F-Series is particularly popular for logistics, cold chain, and industrial hauling. In the heavy-duty segment (Category V), Isuzu sold 245 units, capturing 33.2% of the market. These trucks are known for their powerful performance, high payload capacity, and robust design, making them ideal for large-scale logistics and infrastructure projects.
IPC’s market leadership is also attributed to its exceptional aftersales support system, known as the “Isuzu Advantage.” This includes a nationwide dealer network, readily available replacement parts, mobile medic trucks for on-site repairs, and specialized training programs for drivers and mechanics. Isuzu’s commitment to customer satisfaction ensures its trucks remain in optimal condition throughout their lifespan, reinforcing its reputation as a reliable partner for businesses.
As Isuzu celebrates this milestone, IPC looks forward to continuing its legacy of innovation and customer satisfaction. Tetsuya Fujita, IPC President, expressed his gratitude to loyal customers for their continued trust in the brand, emphasizing Isuzu’s dedication to providing reliable, fuel-efficient, and eco-friendly transport solutions. Looking ahead, IPC plans to introduce more cutting-edge trucks that cater to the evolving needs of businesses in the Philippines.
