Manila, Philippines – Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), led by President Tetsuya Fujita, unveiled its latest innovations at the 9th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), reaffirming its dedication to delivering advanced products that enhance driving experiences and support the nation’s goal of carbon neutrality. Under the theme “Innovations For You,” IPC showcased a forward-thinking approach to meet the evolving demands of personal and business customers alike.

“This year, every vehicle we present reflects our dedication to combining top-tier performance with modern solutions for both personal and commercial needs. Our line-up demonstrates our commitment to delivering exceptional driving experiences while helping businesses nationwide succeed and move towards carbon neutrality,” said IPC President Tetsuya Fujita.

Exciting New Product Line-up

Leading the line-up was the Isuzu D-MAX 4×4, available in two variants: the standard model, now equipped with a Differential Lock System and Rough Terrain Mode, and both featuring advanced safety technologies like 5-Star Safety ADAS, a 360-degree Around View Monitor (AVM), and wireless charging. To highlight its versatility, IPC also introduced a customized D-MAX 4×4 fitted with off-road gear, including a TJM Steel Bumper, Method Wheels, and a Manley Canopy Camper, perfect for 4×4 and overlanding adventures.

On the luxury front, IPC launched the Isuzu mu-X Executive Edition, an SUV that redefines comfort with a luxurious Red and Black leather interior and custom VIP seats offering power recline, leg rests, massage functions, and ambient lighting. Its exterior is enhanced with 20” Black Rhino wheels and Nitto S City tires, elevating its overall look.

Innovations for Business and Logistics

IPC also introduced the Isuzu TRAVIZ Concept Cargo Van, designed for logistics and last-mile deliveries. With a modern cargo area capable of carrying up to 1,660 kilograms, this concept model offers improved efficiency for business operations. Meanwhile, for heavy-duty needs, the Isuzu EW5 Tractor Head, powered by a GH11E EURO V engine and a 12-speed Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), was displayed as a powerful solution for the hauling industry.

Leading the Change Towards Carbon Neutrality

The highlight of IPC’s booth was the unveiling of the Isuzu N-Series EV Concept Truck, a light-duty electric vehicle designed for urban and suburban deliveries. Equipped with a 90kW electric motor and a 40kWh battery providing a range of 115 kilometers, the N-Series EV is both efficient and environmentally friendly. It supports Type 1 normal charging and CHAdeMO rapid charging, making it a versatile choice for businesses aiming to reduce their carbon footprint.

Tetsuya Fujita emphasized Isuzu’s holistic approach to supporting carbon-neutral goals through its EVISION Plan, which includes a Total Solution Program to assist businesses with EV adoption. “Through our EVISION Plan, we assess customer operational needs, provide charging solutions, and offer fleet management support to ensure a smooth transition to electric vehicles,” said Fujita.
