Kia Asia Pacific took a significant step in solidifying its role as a leader in sustainable mobility with the launch of the inaugural 2024 Kia EV Day in Taipei, Taiwan. Following the success of the global Kia EV Day in 2023, this regional event showcased Kia’s impressive lineup of market-ready and concept electric vehicles (EVs), marking a key milestone in the company’s journey toward an all-electric future.
Continuing the momentum of its 2021 rebrand and commitment to inspiring the EV revolution, Kia highlighted its latest electric models and innovations. A key moment of the event was the first-ever regional reveal of the Kia EV3, which is set to be launched in select Asia Pacific countries in 2025. The event also featured the new Concept PV5 and the futuristic Concept EV4, showcasing Kia’s advanced design and technology for the next generation of EVs.

The EV3 brings the cutting-edge technology of the flagship EV9 SUV to the compact segment. With features like Electric Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control (eDTVC) and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), the EV3 is designed to deliver optimum traction, safety, and a modern, sporty look. Slated for release in 2025, it aims to expand EV accessibility and accelerate Kia’s transition to sustainable mobility.
Alongside the EV3, Kia showcased its vision for the future of electric mobility. The Concept EV4, embodying the “Power to Progress” philosophy, blends earth-inspired aesthetics with futuristic technology, presenting a sleek, driver-centric design that introduces a new category of luxury EV sedans. The Concept PV5, Kia’s first Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV), redefines mobility solutions with its customizable, multi-purpose design tailored to diverse uses—from business and logistics to personal activities.
