Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC), in partnership with SSMC Group of Hospitals and Clinics, recently conducted a medical mission for the underprivileged Sitio Hemedez community in Brgy. Malitlit, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. This community, consisting of approximately 180 families, faces significant challenges in accessing essential healthcare services due to economic constraints, as many residents are industrial workers employed in nearby factories.
The mission aimed to provide vital medical support, offering basic laboratory services, medical and dental consultations, and distributing medicines, hygiene kits, and food packs to improve the health and living conditions of the residents. Volunteers from MMPC and SSMC, including MMPC’s Vice President for Safety, Health & Environment Department, Marfel Ancheta, and Senior Manager for General Affairs Department, Cristine Jumamoy, were instrumental in carrying out the mission.
Through this initiative, MMPC further exemplified its commitment to its corporate social responsibility, staying true to its tagline, “Life Made Better.” By partnering with local government and organizations, MMPC continues to make a tangible impact on the communities it serves, demonstrating the importance of community collaboration in creating lasting positive change.
“MMPC remains dedicated to helping uplift communities facing significant challenges, and we will continue to partner with local organizations to execute such efforts effectively,” said Marfel Ancheta. This medical mission is a testament to MMPC’s ongoing dedication to improving the well-being of the communities it serves.
