Mober Opens the Philippines’ Largest Commercial EV Charging Hub

Mober, a leading green logistics firm in the Philippines, has launched Central Charge, the country’s largest commercial EV charging hub. Located along D. Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City, the 3,000-square-meter facility features 56 charging ports and can service up to 200 EV trucks daily with its three-shift system. Designed to support logistics operations, Central Charge includes 50 7kW DC chargers and two 60kWh fast-charging units, minimizing downtime for Mober’s fleet of electric vans and trucks.

Strategically located near key commercial areas in Metro Manila, the hub will enhance delivery efficiency for Mober’s clients, including IKEA, Nestlé Philippines, and Maersk. Mober’s Founder and CEO, Dennis Ng, highlighted the hub’s role in advancing sustainable logistics and the company’s commitment to green mobility since transitioning to EVs in 2021.

This expansion follows Mober’s first charging hub in Pasay City, launched in 2023. To further reduce its carbon footprint, Mober plans to add solar panels and a battery energy storage system at Central Charge. With these upgrades and future fleet expansion to over 500 EVs by 2026, Mober continues to align with the Philippines’ Electric Vehicles and Charging Systems (EVIDA) Act, reinforcing its leadership in the country’s shift to sustainable logistics.
