NKS Solar One Awards New Motorcycle to “Hari ng Kalsada” Champion, Supporting Local Talent and Community Spirit

In a heartening display of support for local talent, NKS Solar One awarded a brand-new motorcycle to John Michael Gordula, the winner of the “Hari ng Kalsada” competition held during the Sambalilo Festival on September 9 in Cavinti, Laguna. This contribution highlights NKS Solar One’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and its focus on creating economic opportunities for host communities.

The “Hari ng Kalsada” event, dedicated to celebrating the skills of Cavinti’s top drivers, showcased fierce competition this year, with Gordula, a tricycle driver from Brgy. Mahipon-Lumot, taking the crown. “This motorcycle is more than a prize—it’s a meaningful gift that will help me continue my journey on the road,” Gordula said, thanking NKS Solar One and the Cavinti Local Government Unit (LGU) for their support.

Jason Gavina, Head of Community Relations and Marketing for Blueleaf Energy Philippines, underscored NKS Solar One’s commitment to empowering local communities, saying, “This motorcycle is a symbol of our appreciation for the hard work and dedication of local tricycle drivers like John Michael. We’re also grateful to the Cavinti LGU for championing local talent and making this event possible.”
