Global automotive brands OMODA and JAECOO showcased their cutting-edge innovations at the inaugural Media Track Day on February 5 at the Batangas Racing Circuit. This event, the brands’ first since entering the Philippine market in 2023, allowed motoring media to experience the exceptional driving performance of the OMODA C5, OMODA E5, and JAECOO EJ6 ahead of the official launch set for this February.

As OMODA’s flagship model, the OMODA C5 stood out for its modern design and cutting-edge features, perfectly blending style with innovation. With its intelligent voice command, dual driving modes, and 13 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), the OMODA C5 is built for both city and long-distance drives. It has also received 5-star safety ratings from leading programs like ENCAP and ASEAN NCAP.

Sustainability at the Forefront: The OMODA E5

The OMODA E5, the brand’s first electric vehicle, took center stage during the slalom course, demonstrating its agility and eco-friendly credentials. Designed for the tech-savvy and eco-conscious, the OMODA E5 has a certified range of 430 km, extending to 442.7 km during AAP certification. Fast-charging capabilities allow it to charge from 30% to 80% in just 28 minutes, making it a convenient choice for modern drivers. Its advanced features, including a Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and intelligent voice assistant, set a new standard for sustainable mobility.

JAECOO EJ6: Off-Road EV Excellence

The JAECOO EJ6, the brand’s first all-electric 4WD SUV, dominated the off-road test drive. Created for adventure seekers, it features a six-in-one motor system and nine driving modes, allowing it to handle extreme off-road conditions with ease. With an 80 KW fast-charging battery and an acceleration time of 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds, the JAECOO EJ6 is designed for performance and convenience. Its lightweight all-aluminum body and 15.6-inch infotainment system make it a versatile choice for both city driving and outdoor escapades.
