Ford Philippines today announced June retail sales that rose slightly from the previous month to 2,114 vehicles, led by the Ranger, EcoSport, and Everest.
The segment-defining Ranger drove the June performance with sales rising 2.5 percent from the prior month to 1,095 vehicles. Year-to-date sales for the Ranger have increased 19 percent to 5,470 vehicles.
Sales of the Everest mid-size SUV rose more than 10 percent to 483 vehicles, driving its year-to-date sales to 3,178 vehicles. The EcoSport mini-SUV recorded sales of 405 vehicles in June, pushing its year-to-date sales to 3,242 vehicles.
The recently launched new Mustang recorded June sales of 52 vehicles, pushing its year-to-date sales up 39 percent to 251 vehicles.
“We ended the first half of the year on a strong note and are optimistic about the second half as we continue to launch new vehicles and refresh our Ford lineup in the Philippines this year,” said Bert Lessard, managing director, Ford Philippines.
