Suzuki Philippines Incorporated, one of the country’s top motorcycle manufacturers, has partnered with Angkas, the pioneering ride-hailing platform, in a strategic collaboration aimed at enhancing the lives of Filipino riders. The partnership was officially launched at the Angkas Tagumpay Center, located on Ortigas Ave., Cainta, Rizal, where fifteen (15) selected Angkas riders were introduced to Suzuki’s reliable and fuel-efficient motorcycles.
Empowering Riders, One Journey at a Time
Angkas, a Filipino tech startup, has revolutionized the transportation industry by connecting passengers with motorcycle riders via its mobile app. By offering flexible income opportunities, the platform has become a crucial part of the country’s transportation system.
Recognizing the essential role motorcycle riders play in the economy, Suzuki Philippines partnered with Angkas to provide high-quality, practical motorcycles. This collaboration seeks to empower Angkas riders by offering them access to popular Suzuki models such as the Burgman Street EX, Avenis, and Smash. These motorcycles are renowned for their durability, fuel efficiency, and comfortable riding experience, benefiting both riders and passengers.
A Synergy of Innovation and Reliability
“We are thrilled to partner with Angkas, a company that shares our commitment to improving the lives of Filipinos,” said Johnny De Guzman, Field Marketing Group Head at Suzuki Philippines. “By providing our reliable motorcycles to Angkas riders, we hope to contribute to their success and help them earn a better living.”
The partnership focuses on achieving several key objectives:
A Month-Long Experience
To mark the beginning of this collaboration, fifteen Angkas riders were given the opportunity to use Suzuki motorcycles, including the Burgman Street EX and Smash models, for their daily operations over the course of a month.
In the next phase, around 20 units of the Suzuki Avenis, a scooter known for its practicality, convenience, fuel efficiency, and comfort, will be distributed to more Angkas riders.
This partnership between Suzuki Philippines and Angkas highlights both companies’ dedication to providing Filipinos with innovative and reliable transportation solutions, making a positive impact on the lives of motorcycle riders across the country. With this collaboration, it’s clear that Oras na Para MagMotor!
