Suzuki Riders’ Noble Journey: Community and Compassion through SHARE (Suzuki Helps, Aids & REbuilds)

Suzuki Philippines, in collaboration with its dedicated riders, continues to champion community involvement and social responsibility through its recent philanthropic endeavors. Following a series of charity rides in La Castellana and Bataan, the renowned motorcycle brand participated in two significant charitable events hosted by two of the largest Suzuki riders clubs in the country: the Philippine Suzuki Riders Club (PSRC) Laguna Chapter and the Torque Riders Organization (Torque).

On July 13, 2024, PSRC embarked on their annual Balik-Eskwela program, journeying to Casillon Elementary School in Brgy. Dulangan, Baco, Oriental Mindoro. This year, they had the honor of reaching out to the Mangyan community. The enthusiasm for learning exhibited by the students strengthened PSRC’s dedication to education and youth development. By distributing 187 school supply packs and eight electric fans for the classrooms, PSRC aims to make a tangible difference in the lives of these young learners, empowering both students and teachers and fostering a brighter educational environment for all.

Sharing the same dedication to social responsibility, the Torque Riders Organization organized a charity ride to Brgy. Mat-i, Surigao City. This event transcended a mere scenic journey, becoming a mission to support the indigenous Magbanwa tribe by distributing essential supplies. Approximately 200 riders participated in the 5km convoy, arriving at a venue where 68 families gathered for the donation drive. The event was part of Torque’s 5th Annual VisMin Convention, which also featured a Safety Riding Seminar hosted by the Suzuki Safety Riding Authority.

The convention concluded with a grand raffle, where a lucky club member won a brand-new Raider F150 Fi, generously funded by Torque. This gesture not only highlighted the club’s commitment to their members but also reinforced the sense of community and solidarity among Suzuki riders. Such events showcase the power of collective effort in making a positive impact on society, emphasizing that motorcycling is not just about the ride but also about the journey towards making a difference.

These initiatives underscore Suzuki’s unwavering commitment to its SHARE (Suzuki Helps, Aids & REbuilds) program, demonstrating their dedication to giving back to the community. Suzuki remains steadfast in supporting clubs and riders in their efforts to make a positive impact on communities across the Philippines. Through programs like these, Suzuki continues to build a legacy of social responsibility and community engagement.
