The Scrambler Day Philippines Returns After 3-Year Hiatus!

After a three-year absence, the grandest gathering of Ducati Scrambler enthusiasts in the Philippines made its triumphant return! The Scrambler Day 2023 roared to life on Sunday, October 1st, 2023, at the Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater, treating attendees to a day filled with games, prizes, vibrant colors, delicious food, and pure FUN!

Over 200 Ducatisti, including some of the biggest names in the Philippine motorcycle scene, were in attendance. Notable figures like well-known actor Richard Gutierrez and veteran motorcycle journalist Jay Taruc graced the event. Adding to the excitement, Ducati Area Sales Manager Asia, Valentino Salvioni, was the guest of honor.

Scrambler Day 2023 showcased the Scrambler 2nd generation models, including the Icon, Full Throttle, and Nightshift. These models brought significant improvements from their predecessors. Visitors were captivated by the venue’s installations, which highlighted the unique features of the Next-Gen models, such as the array of color options and their modern aesthetics.

This event was part of the Next-Gen World Tour, which had previously made stops in Italy, London, Milan, Munich, Paris, Madrid, Vienna, and Malaysia. Beyond introducing the new models, attendees enjoyed family-friendly activities like arcade games, giant puzzles, and board games. The venue delighted taste buds with various food concessionaires offering treats like Filipino ice cream (sorbetes), Mexican cuisine, coffee, milk tea, cotton candy, and more.

Art installations and photo walls immersed attendees in the aesthetics and colors of the new Scramblers. Relaxation areas around the venue featured chill music courtesy of DJ Janny Medina. The event kicked off with a motorcade from the official dealerships of Ducati Manila, Ducati Alabang, and Ducati Clark, which converged at the venue at 2:00 pm.

Ducati Philippines President Toti Alberto formally launched the program with his opening remarks. Back-to-back Philippine Superbike Champion TJ Alberto and Ducati Philippines’ Marketing Manager Renzo Ongkiko shared their insights on the 2nd generation Scramblers. Additionally, a fashion show showcased the latest Ducati and Scrambler apparel.
