TJ Alberto Resumes Access Plus Racing’s PSBK Title Defense at Clark

After securing two wins at the Clark International Speedway (CIS) last month, Timothy Joseph “TJ” Alberto and Access Plus Racing are back and ready to compete this weekend. With a 14-point advantage, they enter Round 4 of the 2024 Philippine Superbike Championship (PSBK) on August 3-4. The 4.189 km track has always been a stronghold for the team, with extensive testing and training translating to exceptional race-day performance. Alberto, known for setting official track records, again shattered the CIS record during Round 3 last month with a 1:48.407 lap.

Despite his confidence in defending his PSBK title, TJ Alberto will race solo as his brother Troy Alberto continues recovering from a fractured vertebrae sustained in a crash during Round 2 at BRC. Though unable to race, Troy remains a vital part of the team, offering insights on bike setup and race strategy. The team wishes Troy a swift recovery and looks forward to his return to racing soon. Meanwhile, TJ and his #77 Ducati Panigale V4 continue their pursuit of a fourth consecutive PSBK overall title, with qualifying on Saturday and both races on Sunday.

Access Plus Racing is supported by sponsors such as Ducati Philippines, Shell Advance, DID, Aella, Extreme Components, Macbeth, Motoworld, Sprint Filter, Bremo, and Öhlins Racing. For the latest updates, follow Access Plus Racing and the Alberto brothers on Facebook.
