Yamaha and Spartan Forge Alliance Celebrating Resilience in the ‘Play Your Tough’ Campaign

Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. forged a robust alliance with Spartan Philippines for their ‘Play Your Tough’ Campaign, centering on the Yamaha Mio Gear. Symbolizing personal resilience, this motorcycle perfectly embodies Spartan’s ethos of conquering obstacles. Yamaha proudly assumes the role of the official lifestyle motorcycle of Spartan Philippines until May 2024.

This dynamic collaboration commenced with the Mio Gear Playground, embarking on a tour spanning Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Each event featured a dedicated Spartan area, challenging participants with physical feats such as monkey bars, box jumps, battle rope exercises, and medicine ball slams. Finishers, acknowledged as truly tough, were rewarded with exclusive Yamaha items.

The Mio Gear Squad from Yamaha showcased their prowess in Spartan Races, initiating with the Alviera Sprint challenge—a gripping 20-obstacle off-road trail. The team then conquered the Stadion race in New Clark Pampanga, a swift 5K with 20 obstacles set in a stadium, emphasizing the values of teamwork and functional fitness.

Stepping up the challenge at the Montclair race in Pampanga, the Mio Gear Squad, consisting of 60 individuals, took on the Spartan Super—a rigorous 10K course featuring 25 obstacles and demanding elevation changes. Yamaha eagerly anticipates an increasing number of Spartans joining races in 2024, embracing the authentic spirit of toughness with the Mio Gear.
