GAC Motor Wraps Up Successful MIAS 2025 Showcase with M8 PHEV Debut

GAC Motor Philippines, under Astara Philippines, wrapped up a successful participation at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) with the public debut of its flagship plug-in hybrid MPV, the M8 PHEV. Held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, the event carried the theme “Innovate the Drive – GAC’s Road to Electrification,” highlighting the brand’s commitment to smarter, sustainable mobility solutions for Filipino drivers.

The M8 PHEV wowed showgoers with its bold styling, luxurious cabin, and refined plug-in hybrid powertrain. Designed for families and professionals, the model is slated for launch in Q3 2025 at a projected price below PHP 4.3 million.

Visitors also explored GAC Motor’s strong lineup, which included the GS3 Emzoom, Emkoo Hybrid, M6 Pro, and GS8. Test drives were offered throughout the event, giving guests a firsthand look at the brand’s performance and innovation. The event was further energized by the presence of GAC Brand Ambassador Dingdong Dantes and GAC International Vice President Mr. Wang Shunsheng.

GAC’s exclusive MIAS MAX deals, which ran from April 10 to 13, offered substantial savings across its lineup, including up to PHP 435,000 off the Empow and PHP 250,000 off the GS8.

The brand’s successful showing reaffirmed its growing presence in the country, as it continues to bring premium, future-ready vehicles to the Filipino market.
