SMX Convention Center, Manila – Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) turned up the excitement at the Makina Moto Expo 2025, held from April 4 to 6 at the SMX Convention Center. As one of the country’s most anticipated motorcycle events, the expo gathered riders, enthusiasts, and industry leaders to witness the latest innovations in motorcycle technology. HPI stood out once again, unveiling three high-performance motorcycles and one new electric vehicle, solidifying its commitment to providing top-tier machines for every type of rider.
The highlight of Honda’s booth was the launch of The All-New CUV e:, the brand’s latest electric vehicle offering a sustainable alternative for urban mobility. Building on the success of the EM1 e:, the CUV e: features a 5.5 kW E-Drive Side Motor with up to 22 Nm of torque, reaching a max speed of 83 km/h. With a range of 77.3 km in standard modeand an ECON mode for up to 25% more distance, it combines eco-efficiency with performance. Riders will appreciate removable Honda Mobile Power Pack Charger e: batteries, a 6-hour charging time, and rider-centric features such as a 5-inch TFT meter panel, Smart Key, CBS, USB Type-C charging, and three riding modes. Its SRP is PHP 273,000.
Honda also introduced the All-New ADV350, an adventure scooter designed for riders who demand both practicality and rugged style. Its 330cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled eSP+ engine delivers 21.5 kW of power and 31.8 Nm of torque, paired with features such as Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, ESS, Honda Smart Key, a large 48L U-box, 4-level adjustable windscreen, and a 5-inch TFT display. Stability and control are enhanced with USD front forks, Subtank rear suspension, and 2-channel ABS. With a fuel efficiency of 30 km/L (WMTC) and an SRP soon to be announced, it’s a go-anywhere scooter for daily rides or weekend getaways.
For thrill-seekers, Honda unveiled the All-New CB1000 Hornet, a bold new addition to the brand’s naked sportbike lineup. Featuring a 1000cc liquid-cooled DOHC 4-cylinder engine, it produces 113 kW at 11,000 rpm and 105 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. With a 6-speed manual transmission, Showa 41mm SFF-BP USD forks, Ohlins monoshock, and a lightweight diamond/steel frame, the CB1000 Hornet is engineered for agile, high-performance riding. Its 5-inch customizable TFT meter, HISS security system, and aggressive styling make it a must-watch. Official launch is slated for April 2025, with an SRP of PHP 750,000.
Stealing the spotlight was the legendary Goldwing 50th Anniversary – Eternal Gold Edition, a premium touring machine that combines luxury, power, and cutting-edge technology. Powered by a 1,833cc Flat-6 engine with 93 kW output and 170 Nm of torque, it includes a 7-speed DCT with reverse, Double Wishbone front suspension, and a 7-inch full-color TFT display. Riders can choose between Eternal Gold (PHP 2,100,000) and Digital Silver Metallic (PHP 2,050,000). Set to arrive in Honda Flagship and Wingshop stores this May 2025, the Goldwing is the epitome of grand touring comfort.
Alongside the headlining launches, Honda showcased fan-favorite models like the Rebel1100, Africa Twin (DCT), and X-ADV—each built to elevate the riding experience across various lifestyles and terrain. Visitors also explored Honda’s range of Pro-Honda oils, genuine accessories, and riding gear, enhancing the overall ownership and riding experience for Honda customers.
